This project is going well! Even though I unfortunately missed class on Friday due to a conflict, I was still able to get in touch with my group and discuss what my part would be for the brochure. My role is to get the audience’s interest and attention by creating desire for the product. I would say I could improve by possibly adding more to the panel I am working on and revising it to see if there is anything I should re-word. The benefits to collaboration are listening to ideas you have not thought about before, as well as learning to be open-minded to everyone’s opinions. Also, collaboration can help you become more comfortable with social skills, especially if you have not talked to the group of people before. If I were to deal with someone who was not listening to my ideas in a collaborative project, I would be patient with them and figure out why they were not accepting of my ideas as well as providing a compromise so that we are both contributing equally to the project.
